Hello!
I’m a digital journalist based in Seoul, South Korea and contributing reporter at NBC News. My work (reporting/photography) has appeared in NBC News, where I broke an exclusive story on the Atlanta spa shootings.
I love long-form narratives that expose all forms of power abuse, but I'm also skilled in multimedia reporting and breaking news. My areas of coverage include addressing policy-based social gaps, immigrant communities and culture.
Previously, I’ve reported on the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ lack of COVID-19 testing for the elderly population, local gentrification in Dumbo, Brooklyn, and the Nuyorican Cafe slam poets' take on the 2019 El Paso shooting.
I hold a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from NYU. My capstone thesis on the plight of food vendors forced to buy permits in the black market won the Editor & Publisher Prize for journalism writing.
In my spare time, you can catch me getting lost on Spotify grounds. But enough about me, I'd love to hear from you!
